THE CUPI DIFFERENCE        *       THE POWER OF CUPI OUTSOURCING        *       ASO VS. PEO

REDISCOVER WHAT "WOW" SERVICE FEELS LIKE ... EXPERIENCE THE CUPI DIFFERENCE!

ASO vs. PEO

Our approach to designing plan options is unique in the industry – allowing you to select only those services you want or need (a-la-carte to fit your needs)!  This allows our partners the ability to choose the exact level of outsourcing functions that specifically matches their unique needs.

CUPI offers both an Administrative Service Organization (ASO) or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) relationship.  What’s the difference?
  • Our ASO option allows the employer to retain the full employment relationship and associated liabilities.  Therefore, more internal HR involvement is necessary.  CUPI services available include payroll processing, benefits administration, HR consulting, and safety and compliance management.
  • Our PEO option establishes a three-way relationship between you (the employer), your employees and CUPI (the PEO).  You and CUPI become co-employers, instead of the traditional employer / employee relationship.  This allows CUPI to provide you with employment administration relief and to transfer or share many employer responsibilities and liabilities.

Key Differences in PEO Services

  • Includes employer payroll taxes (FICA, FUTA & SUTA) – which means you no longer have to worry about paying employer taxes on your own!
  • Workers’ Compensation – Your employees will fall under the policy of CUPI, meaning your existing policy will no longer be necessary.  In addition, CUPI handles any workers’ compensation claims that may arise.
  • Legal co-employer relationship between your employees and CUPI reduces overall employer liabilities.
